Misha Briere, DO


Misha Briere, DO, "S. Koplovitz, DO Keynote Address: Beyond the Battle – Serving Those Who Serve," is a graduate of North Carolina State University and 2010 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.  After graduation, she moved to California to complete her traditional internship and entered active duty with the United States Air Force as a commissioned officer and flight surgeon.  During her eight years of active duty service she served with the 355th Medical Group and as a Squadron Medical Element to the 335th and 333rd Fighter Squadrons.  Major Briere has deployed as the sole validating flight surgeon to Camp Bastion, Helmand Province, Afghanistan in 2012 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom then in 2016 to Al Dhafra Air Base, UAE in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.  Major Briere completed her active duty time serving as Flight Commander of the 87th Aeromedical Squadron, Flight Medicine Clinic, McGuire AFB, New Jersey.  In 2018 she separated from the military to return to medicine.  She completed an internal medicine residency at PCOM under the wings of her program director, Dr. Michael Venditto, and a sports medicine fellowship at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia.  With her continued movement internationally with the Air Force, Dr. Briere has been exposed to a wide variety of training environments and worked with experts in all fields of medicine.  This included extensive training in aesthetic medicine.  Dr. Briere continues to practice her expertise in all aspects of sports medicine and aesthetic medicine in Philadelphia.  She has no relevant financial relationship(s) with ineligible companies to disclose.
