Patricia Nguyen, OMS


Patricia Nguyen was born and raised in Tigard, OR. Before attending Western University of Health Sciences COMP-NW, she attended Valley Catholic from K-12 and studied at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. Inspired by her undergraduate background in Spanish and Medical Anthropology, she became an active member of the Rural Health Track in medical school. Patricia also served as an executive member of the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association and the OPSO Council of Medical Students. She is involved with the OMM department as a Teaching Assistant. Committed to working with underserved populations, Patricia was awarded the Primary Care Loan Forgiveness Scholarship and hopes to serve as a pediatrician or family medicine physician.

 

Patricia is passionate about dancing, meditating, and improving her proficiency in Vietnamese and Spanish to connect with family as well as her future patients. Regardless of where she ends up for residency, she is determined to move back home to Oregon.
