Patricia R. Walt, LCSW, CCTP
Ms. Walt provides crisis intervention and ongoing therapy services for victims of sexual assault, human trafficking, and family violence at the Eskenazi Health Center of Hope (COH) in Indianapolis, IN. The Eskenazi COH program is located within the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital, along with the Smith Level I Shock Trauma Center and one of the busiest emergency departments. The COH is a multidisciplinary team made of up of victim advocates, forensic nurses, and a social worker. In addition to working with adult victims of interpersonal violence, Ms. Walt’s professional experience includes working in the field of child welfare with childhood trauma survivors and their caregivers. She believes strongly that comprehensive trauma informed services should be widely available and accessible to all survivors of interpersonal violence. She received her undergraduate degree in international studies with high honors from Portland State University in Portland, OR, and her graduate degree in social work from the Indiana University School of Social Work in Indianapolis, IN.. She is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Indiana, and a certified clinical trauma professional. She is a member of both the Adult Services and the Criminalization Alternative Project (CAP) sub-committees under the Indiana Protection for Abused and Trafficked Humans Task Force (IPATH) umbrella.
