Dr. Raed Fahmy is a graduate of California State University, Northridge with BS degree in Chemistry.

He went to George Washington University for Medical School.

He went to Loma Linda for Internal Medicine training. He also acted as the Chief Medical resident for an additional year.

After fulfilling his medical school commitment for two years with Public Health, he started his cardiology training at UCLA-SFVP. He was a partner with Kaiser Permanent, Southern California for 6 years before moving to Private practice in Tacoma, Washington 2000-2009. He has been with the Franciscan Heart and Vascular Associates since 2009. He is currently the chief of Medicine at St Anthony Hospital, Gig Harbor Washington. He is a member of the Cardiovascular Leadership Council with the Franciscan 2012-2016. He is the chairman of the cardiovascular quality committee for the Franciscan Heart Center. He has been active in Atrial Fibrillation research since 2000.
