Ramya S. Vedula


Ramya Vedula, MD earned her DO degree from UMDNJ – School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007. Her Internal Medicine training and Chief Residency was served at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She completed her Endocrinology Fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.  Additionally she earned her MPH and Preventive Medicine degree from The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. She is an attending physician at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center.


Dr. Vedula is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.


Before joining the Princeton Medical Group, Dr. Vedula was an Instructor of Medicine in the Department of Endocrinology at Geisel of Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center since July 2011. She has held major administrative leadership positions and is a member of The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, The American Thyroid Association, and The Endocrine Society.


Dr. Vedula joined Princeton Medical Group, PA as an Endocrinologist in September of 2014. She provides a full range of Endocrine and Metabolic Disease patient services, in addition to thyroid ultrasounds.


Dr. Vedula achieved the position of Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson (RWJ) School of Medicine. She enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students and residents in addition to her clinical practice.


Dr. Vedula has earned the prestigious ECNU certification. ECNU is a professional certification, accredited by the AIUM ( American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine), in the field of neck ultrasonography for physicians who perform consultations and diagnostic evaluations for thyroid and parathyroid disorders through both diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (UGFNA).


The ECNU credential signifies that an individual has passed the Comprehensive Certification Examination (CCE) and has successfully completed the Validation of Competency Process (VCP).
