Raysha Crawford, DO
Raysha J. Crawford, DO is originally from Webster, NY and now currently calls Long Island her home. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from SUNY Brockport, in Brockport, NY where she graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Crawford then received her medical degree from NYITCOM and completed her residency training in Family and Community Medicine at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital in Oceanside, NY.
Shortly after residency, she was the Associate Medical Director for CareNow Urgent Care in Dallas, Texas and the surrounding Dallas-Fort Worth area. After a few years in that role, she returned to her home town of Webster, NY, where she was the Assistant Professor of Clinical Family Medicine at University of Rochester Medical Center. After deciding to transition from Academic Medicine to now working in a new role in a Telehealth platform with Amwell Medical Group, she believes this new role allows her to provide access of care in some communities where access to a provider can be difficult. In addition to this, she is working to establish her own private practice with her sister who is a Naturopathic physician/Nutritionist, emphasizing prevention and optimal health, encouraging an individual’s inherent self-healing process.
