Dr. Richard Galloway is a board-certified endocrinologist with Hattiesburg Clinic.  He recently retired from his office practice and is currently a faculty member of the Forrest General Family Medicine Residency training program.  Dr. Galloway established bone densitometry measurement at Hattiesburg Clinic and has been reading densitometry studies and treating osteoporosis for over 25 years.  

In addition to holding a board certification in endocrinology and internal medicine, Dr. Galloway is also board certified in thyroid ultrasound, clinical bone densitometry.

Dr. Galloway received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, Calif. He then completed an internship and residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colo. Dr. Galloway also completed a fellowship in endocrinology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and a fellowship in endocrinology science research at Walter Reed Army Institute Research, both in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Galloway is a member of the, American Diabetes Association, Mississippi State Medical Association,  and the South Mississippi Medical Society.
