Richard E. Moses, DO, JD, FACOI, FCLM, “Medicolegal Considerations for the Supervising Physician,” is a medical fellow with global medical affairs at Eli Lilly & Company and an adjunct clinical professor of medicine at the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Moses is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, University Park; a 1979 graduate of Des Moines (Iowa) University — Osteopathic Medical Center College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery; and a 1997 graduate of Temple University School of Law. He completed an internship and internal medicine residency at Metropolitan Hospital and a gastroenterology fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital, both in Philadelphia. Board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology and forensic medicine, Dr. Moses is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists, the American College of Legal Medicine, the American Board of Forensic Examiners, the American College of Physicians and the American Gastroenterological Association. Past president of the Pennsylvania Society of Gastroenterology, he is a member of POMA, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American College of Forensic Examiners, the American Association for Physician Leadership, the American Society of Law, Medicine and Ethics, the Health Care Compliance Association, and the American and New Jersey bar associations.
