Bo Cooley, DO, earned a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Washburn University and then completed post-masters training in Diagnostics, Individual and Group Psychotherapy and Forensic Psychiatry at the Karl Menninger School of Psychiatry Menninger Clinic.  After that he earned his D.O. degree from Kansas City University – College of Osteopathic Medicine (when it was University of Health Sciences).  His residency in family medicine was completed at Park Lane Medical Center in Kansas City.  Dr. Cooley has worked in the addictions rehabilitation field for thirty-six years and integrated addictions medicine and psychiatry for thirty years.  He practices today at the KC Care Clinic and is supervising physician in the osteopathic manual medicine clinic at the Goppert family medicine residency program Dr. Cooley is an assistant professor of primary care medicine at KCU and a psychiatric consultant for KU Med Center.  He serves the profession as a committee member on the continuing medical committee and the research development committee at KCU.  Dr. Cooley is board certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians and he discloses that he has no actual or potential conflict of interest in relation to this program or presentation.  He also discloses that he has no relevant financial relationships with any commercial interests relative to the content of this presentation.
