Robert Pedowitz


Dr. Pedowitz is the Medical Director of Primary Care Integration and Innovation at CentraState Hospital as well as NJAOPS’ Past-President and NJAOPS’ 2019 Physician of the Year. After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst he went on to earn a medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then secured a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey- School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford NJ (now RowanSOM) where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Pedowitz has held numerous leadership positions within NJAOPS as well as with the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association. He is involved in several committees at CentraState including serving on the Physician Advisory Group for Cancer Services and he represents the hospital on the Partners in Care ACO Quality Committee. Dr. Pedowitz is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
