Rohini Mehta, MD is a board-certified Psychiatrist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in the Clinical and Applied Science Education department at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine in San Antonio, TX. She is originally from Northern Virginia and received her B.Sc. in Pharmacology from McGill University and her medical degree from the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Dr. Mehta went on to complete her residency training in psychiatry from MedStar Georgetown University Hospital where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Mehta has a passion for medical education and has additionally served as a clinician educator for the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. Her clinical interests include managing mood and anxiety disorders, especially in patients with comorbid chronic pain, and Dr. Mehta emphasizes the mind-body-spirit connection with her patients.
