Salman Raheem, DO


Dr. Salman Raheem attended medical school at Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed post-graduate training in Internal Medicine at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. After serving as faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine at the same program for a couple of years after graduation, he completed the fellowship program in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at UNT-TCOM in 2017.  

Dr. Salman Raheem serves as the medical director of Supportive and Palliative Medicine at?Texas Health Plano and Allen. In addition to?discussions?of goals of care in patients dealing with serious/chronic illnesses, his current practice includes inpatient palliative care for pain and symptom management. He has a passion for teaching and working with a local hospice company providing end-of-life care to patients.?When not at work, I enjoy spending time with family especially my two toddler sons, playing tennis, watching football and managing my fantasy football team.
