Assistant Professor of Osteopathic Principles & Practice

Dr. Sarah Davis serves as Assistant Professor of Osteopathic Principles & Practice at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Davis graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004.  She completed her family medicine residency at St. John Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights, MI, serving as chief resident and being awarded medicine resident of the year during her last year of residency.  

Upon completion of her residency she joined a family medicine/athletic medicine practice in the metro Detroit Area and practiced there for two years before moving to Denver, Colorado, where she continued to practice family medicine with Kaiser Permanente. In 2011 she embarked on her integrative medicine journey, enrolling in the Integrative Medicine distance learning fellowship program founded by Dr. Andrew Weil at the Arizona Center of Integrative Medicine, through the University of Arizona. Dr. Davis completed this program in 2013 and became board certified in Integrative Medicine, in addition to her Family Medicine board certification. In 2016, she decided to pursue a Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Plus One residency, something she had considered doing for many years. During her NMM year, Dr. Davis was involved in teaching the 1st and 2nd year students, discovering her passion for teaching.

Dr. Davis is board certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. She also serves as an affiliate faculty member at Family Medicine Residency of Idaho.
