Sherri Quarles
Sherri L. Quarles, is the AAO Executive Director of the American
Academy of Osteopathy (AAO) and has been since August 2016.
Sherri also serves as the President of Society of Osteopathic Specialist (SOSE). Before becoming executive director, Sherri had been the acting interim executive director since February of 2016.
Ms. Quarles joined the Academy staff in October 2011 as the accountant, and in July 2013, she was promoted to associate executive director. As the accountant she streamlined the Academy’s accounting processes to increase efficiency, and as associate executive director, she became responsible for managing the Academy’s staff in addition to continuing to oversee the financial processes of the Academy.
Sherri has more than 20 years of experience managing financial responsibilities and human resources in the not-for-profit sector. Which include leadership, management, fundraising, communications, planning, strategizing, marketing, problem-solving and has an exemplary track record in Accounting, Budgets, Payroll, Audits, IT Support and more.
Sherri also enjoys numbers and complex issues. She looks forward to everyday challenges in life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her children, volunteering at the local food pantry and serving on different committees in her school district.
