BIO: Dr. Sonya Shipley is a board-certified Geriatrician and Family Medicine Physician at the University of MS Medical Center in Jackson, MS.  Dr. Shipley has been the recipient of many professional awards and recognitions including faculty member of the year.  Dr. Shipley has multiple scholarly publications and is an active member of multiple committees at UMMC as well as serving on workgroups of the American Geriatric Society and the American Board of Family Medicine.
