Stephanie LaBarbera
Mrs. LaBarbera is the Executive Director for the New York State Osteopathic Medical Society and has served in her role for 2 ½ years. Mrs. LaBarbera provides overall administrative direction and professional leadership for NYSOMS and assists to carry out the decisions of the Board and implement their directives. Prior to her current role, she was the Manager of Trainee Services for the New York Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Educational Consortium, a collaboration of hospitals and medical schools working together to support graduate medical education accreditation standards and ensure quality residency and fellowship training. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in marketing and communication from Belmont Abbey College in 2009. She went on to complete a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration at Hofstra University in 2015. In her spare time, Mrs. LaBarbera enjoys traveling and being involved in outdoor activities, such as hiking and rollerblading. As a former division II lacrosse player, she still tries to stay active in club teams around New York City.
