Terry Dunn, MD, FACOG, FPMRS
Terry Dunn, MD, FACOG, FPMRS, is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG) and a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Dunn also takes an active role in her field as a member of the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) and the International Urogynecological Association (IUGA). She completed medical school and a four-year residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of New Mexico Medical School. She continues her learning and sharing of her knowledge as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and as an Associate Professor at the Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Dunn chose to specialize in urogynecology and has built her practice around helping women with pelvic floor disorders. Additionally, her depth of knowledge in this specialized area carries over to her niche specialty in medicine and surgical expertise for such conditions. Coupling both, Dr. Dunn brings a distinct body of knowledge to her practice. Her care goes far beyond Colorado’s borders as she annually makes a journey to Africa to help women in a small Kenyan tribe with their urogynecology issues. She’s seen hundreds of patients since her first visit in 2007.
Dr. Dunn lives in Denver, Colo., with her husband Michael Dunn, a primary care physician. They have three children, one who is also a physician, and one grandchild. When she’s not helping others, she’s spending time with family, cooking and traveling.
