Thomas DeGregory, DO, CMD

Thomas R. DeGregory, DO, CMD, “Why Hospice, Why Now? A Potpourri,” is a member of the education committee for the POMA District VIII 36th Annual Educational Winter Seminar. Board certified in family medicine and hospice and palliative medicine, and a certified geriatric medical director, he is medical director of St. Anne Nursing Home and Westmoreland Manor in Greensburg, Pennsylvania; Loyalhanna Care Center in Latrobe, Pennsylvania; Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice in Pittsburgh; and Bethlen Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. A graduate of St. Vincent’s College in Latrobe and a 1973 graduate of Des Moines (Iowa) University – Osteopathic Medical Center College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, Dr. DeGregory completed his postgraduate training at Memorial Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Family Physicians Society, the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Medical Directors Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Directors Association and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
