Thomas Webb, MD


Dr. TJ Webb was raised in Louisiana and earned his bachelor's in Sociology from Louisiana College in Pineville, LA. He and his partner, Katie, first became aware of the scope of modern-day slavery and human trafficking during his 2nd year of medical school at University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, Colorado. Since that time, they have been involved in grass roots activism to raise awareness of this issue, especially within the medical community. Since moving to Waco in 2013 to train at the Waco Family Medicine residency program, Dr. Webb has been involved in this work as a professional trainer for Unbound, helping medical students, nurses, physicians, and other medical professionals learn to recognize human trafficking in their own clinical settings.
