Dr Mouser is currently the Chief Medical Officer of EveryStep Care and Support Services.  He is dually boarded in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine after completing residency at University of Iowa-Des Moines and Fellowship training at Stanford University.  Over the past 11 years in his role, Dr. Mouser has worked with countless patients and their families at end-of-life.  He not only has much experience in the diagnosis and treatment of severe illness and chronic disease, but also has an extensive background in prognostication, medical treatment and symptom management at end-of-life.   He also regularly guides patients and families through difficult conversations for the purpose of advanced care planning and to better understand, and impower them in their goals of care.
