Valerie E. Cadet, PhD, “COVID-19 – From Virus to Vaccine: Vaccines,” is an associate professor of microbiology and immunology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Georgia in Suwanee. She is a graduate of Georgia State University and earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Infectious Diseases from the University of Georgia. Dr. Cadet serves on many community boards and is a member of the International Association of Medical Science Educators, the International Society of Vaccines, the National Association of Medical Minority Educators, the American Society for Microbiology, International Society of Infectious Diseases, and the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research.
