Viviana Navas, MD
Viviana Navas, MD is the section head of heart failure and Director of Cardiovascular Fellowship Program, at the Naples Heart Institute, NCH. She started the Heart Transplant and mechanical Circulatory support program at the Cleveland Clinic Florida in 2014 and was the medical director until 2021. Dr. Navas went to medical school in la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia, did internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology fellowship in Cleveland Clinic Florida and finished Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplant fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Dr. Navas’ main interests are advancing the field of heart failure and education, she is very involved with the residency and fellowship programs and every year she participates as speaker in multiple national and international meetings.
