The overall goal of the Building Pathways program is to improve quality of life for patients with chronic pain by educating multiple clinician disciplines on the pathophysiology of chronic pain, evidence-based pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment options, and emerging treatment modalities that should be considered in managing these conditions.

Michael Kolinski, DO, is board certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (AOBNMM). Following completion of a BS degree in Biology from Eastern Michigan University, Dr. Kolinski attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Kolinski completed his residency at MSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. He has an interest in interventional pain management. Prior to his undergraduate studies, Dr. Kolinski served four years in the United States Navy.

Dr. Redding is a native of California. After spending 3 years in the army, he became a physical therapist in 1980 and then a DO in 1993 at OCMP/Westernu.edu. He is board certified in Family medicine and NMM/OMM and has een working at WesternU for 24 years. Dr. Redding’s hobbies include magic, music, home construction and alternative medicine.
