Description

Diabetes affects millions of people, and this number will continue to rise. The cost attributed to the diabetes and its complications is in the millions. This presentation serves to discuss ways to prevent and treat diabetes whether its through lifestyle modifications or medications.

  • Discuss prevalence of diabetes
  • Discuss lifestyle changes and how it applies to diabetes prevention and the treatment of diabetes
  • Discuss diabetes treatment guidelines

Dr. Rianna Kondaveeti received her medical degree from Lake Eric College of Osteopathic Medicine-Bradenton Campus. She completed her residency at Spartanburg Regional Family Medicine Residency in Family Medicine. Dr. Kondaveeti also completed a fellowship at Spartanburg Regional Family Medicine Residency in Hospital Medicine. She worked as a hospitalist prior to joining Spartanburg Regional Family Medicine as a core faculty member at their rural clinic. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family as well as enjoying the outdoors.
