Treza Green, Investigator, has been working with the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office since 2016, and is a native of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Investigator Green currently serves the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office as an Investigator and is currently assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division’s Special Victim’s Unit (SVU). As an investigator, I am charged with investigating sexual crimes committed against children and adults, child abuse, sexual exploitation, crimes against the elderly, and human trafficking. I am considered a subject matter expert as it pertains to investigating sexual crimes involving children. I (Investigator Green), also serve as the Primary Hostage Negotiator for the GCSO Hostage Negotiations Team, and agency certified Firearms Instructor.
Prior to becoming employed with the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office, I served as a Correctional Probation Senior Officer for eleven years, with Florida Department of Corrections, supervising Sex Offenders that were assigned to Community Control (House Arrest), as well as Drug Offender Probation and Drug Court. Additionally, I have served as a Law Enforcement Detective with the Office of Inspector General-FDC for three years, where my duties entailed investigating criminal complaints alleged against Correctional Officer’s, Correctional Probation Officers, and Wardens assigned to different Correctional Institutions.
Investigator Green is a proud alumnus of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where she received her Bachelor of Art’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Juvenile Justice. My all-time quote is “In a world where you can be anything, always be yourself.”
