Dr. Qasim Jaffri, DO, MBA, received his BS and MBA from Canisius College before graduating medical school from the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. He completed his Psychiatry Residency at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. At which time he had specialty track training in both Behavioral Health Medical Leadership and Brain Stimulation Service. The Brain Stimulation Specialty track is a comprehensive training program in ECT, consistent with the recommendations of the American Psychiatric Association Task Force on ECT. He is certified in ECT by the International Society for ECT & Neurostimulation. He is certified in ECT by the International Society for ECT & Neurostimulation. He has served in the past as Medical Staff President Brylin Hospital; an inpatient psychiatric facility.
Dr. Q. Jaffri is the Psychiatry Clinical Education Coordinator for the Catholic Health System internal medicine residency program. Dr. Jaffri is an AOBNP board certified psychiatrist. He is also a member of the certifying board for the American Osteopathic Board of Neurologists and Psychiatrists (AOBNP). He is currently working in private practice, with both his sister and father, also psychiatrists, at Jaffri Medical Associates, LLC in Amherst NY. He also serves as a consultation liaison psychiatrist to both Kenmore Mercy and Sisters of Charity Hospital.
