Few areas of aesthetic surgery generate more controversy than the topic of penile girth enhancement. Previously the subject of both satire and outright condemnation, scientific developments and clinical methods have advanced over the decades. This journey has evolved from unsafe and unproven procedures to a legitimate set of options and techniques that allow patients to choose based on cost, duration of effect and downtime. Despite the developments in products and methods, there continue to be unproven treatments that continue to cloud the public's perception of what does and doesn't work.
