Monte Mitchell is a fifth generation Texan that was born in Fort Worth. He graduated from Paschal High School in 1973 and went on to study Public Health at the University of Texas systems. Monte holds 6 earned degrees. He graduated from North Texas Health Science University in 1983 and trained in surgery until 1988. Monte graduated with a JD from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 1994. Since 1994, Monte has run the small solo firm of Monte Mitchell, Attorney at Law. He ran for State Representative in 1998, 2000, and 2012, and for US congress twice. Monte has worked at Christ for the Nations Institute and done short mission work from 1990 until 1996. He focuses in the legal areas of construction law, medical malpractice, oil and gas, family law, and personal injury. As a physician and attorney, Monte maintains an advantage with bio-legal issues. Monte travels extensively but loves to come home to his 3 dogs: Sam, George, and Cash. He currently practices at the Elysium Plastic Surgery Clinic in Lewisville.
