Session Objectives: 

  1. Review the most common supplements patients are taking
  2. Discuss risks and benefits of common supplements
  3. Review evidence behind widely used supplements  
  4. Understand why it is important to know about supplements your patient is taking and the effects
  5. Discuss how supplements and interactions can have negative impact
  • The Maine Osteopathic Association designates this program for a maximum of 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.
