Michael P. Angarone, DO— Dr. Angarone is a graduate of Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He completed an Internal medicine Residency at Loyola University and a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.  He is an Infectious Disease specialist at Northwestern Medicine and has been a faculty member since 2009. His practice focuses on the evaluation and treatment of infections in immune compromised individuals, including recipients of organ and stem cell transplants, those on immune suppressive therapy and those with HIV/AIDS. He is also involved in the education of medical students as the Clerkship Director for the Medicine Sub-Internship at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and the education of medical residents and Infectious Disease Fellows as one of the Core Clinical Faculty Members for the Northwestern Internal Medicine Program and the Infectious Disease Fellowship.

Caitlin Martin, MD, MPH — Caitlin Eileen Martin is an assistant professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of OBGYN Addiction Services at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She received her B.S. at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She then received her Master’s in Public Health and Medical Degrees from the Johns Hopkins Schools of Medicine and Public Health. She went on to complete her residency training at the UNC Chapel Hill. She practices as a general obstetrician-gynecologist as well as an addiction medicine provider caring for women with substance use disorder through the lifespan. In doing so, she also leads the VCU OB MOTIVATE program that provides integrated OBGYN and addiction treatment with wrap-around services to pregnant and parenting women. Lastly, as a physician scientist, her primary research interests lie at the intersection between addiction, gender, reproductive and sexual health.

Dr. Wehausen was also trained by a leading expert in the field of dermoscopy, or skin surface microscopy, a non-invasive method used for early detection of skin cancers. While training in South Florida, Dr. Wehausen diagnosed and managed a vast array of dermatologic conditions in a diverse patient population in multiple clinical settings including Broward Health Medical Center, Cleveland Clinic Florida, and the Veterans Affairs Hospital in West Palm Beach. Dr. Wehausen is currently practicing at Affiliated Dermatologists of Virginia in Henrico.

The Virginia Osteopathic Medical Association (VOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. VOMA designates this program for a maximum of 24 AOA Category category of credits 1A CME credits and will report CME credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation.
