Brooke Wehausen, DO

Brooke Wehausen, DO—Dr. Wehausen is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She graduated from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg and completed her Traditional Rotating Internship at Lewis Gale Hospital Montgomery, then went on to complete her dermatology residency at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she served as chief resident. During her residency, Dr. Wehausen trained under the tutelage of Dr. Carlos Nousari, who is an internationally acclaimed leader in the fields of immunodermatology and connective tissue diseases. Dr. Wehausen was also trained by a leading expert in the field of dermoscopy, or skin surface microscopy, a non-invasive method used for early detection of skin cancers. While training in South Florida, Dr. Wehausen diagnosed and managed a vast array of dermatologic conditions in a diverse patient population in multiple clinical settings including Broward Health Medical Center, Cleveland Clinic Florida, and the Veterans Affairs Hospital in West Palm Beach. Dr. Wehausen is currently practicing at Affiliated Dermatologists of Virginia in Henrico.
