Dr. Hansen is a transplant to the Pacific Northwest, having split his childhood between growing up in Stavanger, Norway and Green Bay, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, where he majored in exercise science. He attended medical school at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, where he is now a second-year cardiology fellow. His interests within medicine include heart failure, medical education, and shock. Outside of medicine, he enjoys hiking, fishing, and spending time with his fiancé, Mary, and their dog Moose.
