Bill Lagaly DO

Bill Lagaly DO is the medical director for the Piedmont Athens Regional wound care and hyperbaric medicine clinic. He has been in full-time wound care/hyperbaric medicine since 1999, having started the first wound care clinic in Arkansas at that time. Starting out as a commercial diver in the 1980's, he became a diver medic, inspiring him to go to the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. TCOM started a hyperbaric medicine and wound care program while he was there, so he was able to be involved with that throughout his family medicine residency. He is a past president of the Arkansas Osteopathic Medical Association and the Foundation for the Advancement of Wound Care. He will become President of GOMA in the fall of 2025.
