Charlene LePane, DO, MSPH, FASGE, FACG, FACOI began her career as a nurse then completed her BS at Auburn University 1998, then received a MSPH from UAB in 1999. She graduated from KCUMB and completed her Internal Medicine training at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, where she served as Chief Resident. She served as Chief Fellow and completed her training in gastroenterology at St. John Oakland-Macomb Hospital in Michigan. She is dual board certified, and has published multiple studies in numerous journals. She has been active with FOMA, and previously served as District 3 President. She is a fellow of the ACOI, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastronterology. Dr. LePane is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine for UCF College of Medicine, LECOM, NSU-KPCOM and KCUMB and is passionate about training and education. She is a site director for the upcoming gastroenterology fellowship at AdventHealth. She works for AdventHealth Medical Group in Celebration as a gastronterologist and advanced endoscopist, and is actively involved in leadership with her organization.
