Chris A Lowery, DO, DO


Dr. Lowery received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, and his master’s degree from Ball State University in Muncie, IN.  He is a graduate of Kansas City University of College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCUCOM) in Kansas City, MO.  He completed a traditional rotating internship at Westview Hospital in Indianapolis, IN, and a general surgery residency at Grandview Medical Center, in Dayton, OH.  Dr. Lowery practiced as a general surgeon for 5 years and then went on to complete a cosmetic surgery fellowship under the cosmetic surgery pioneer, Robert Jackson, M.D.Dr. Lowery has since joined Dr. Jackson to form Hamilton Surgical Arts where he performs a wide range of cosmetic and general surgery procedures.  He also is the founder and CEO of Surgical Associates of Indiana.  Dr. Lowery is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgery, and a diplomat and fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS).  He is a past president of the Indiana Osteopathic Association (IOA) and currently serves on the IOA’s Board of Trustees.  In February 2019, Dr. Lowery was inducted as president of the AACS.  He also is a faculty member of Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
