Edwin Davila, DO


Dr. Edwin Davila is a senior resident physician of Internal Medicine at the Texas Institute for Graduate Medical Education and Research. He obtained his medical degree from the University of the Incarnate Word School of Medicine in San Antonio, MS Exercise Physiology from Baylor University and BS Biology from Baylor University. He is a CISSN holder and currently holds positions as a TACSM Board of director and AMSSM board member. He is a prior US Naval Officer. His primary interest is in obesity medicine and developing methods of incorporating lifestyle medicine and exercise science as primary care modalities to his patients as a means of preventing the progression of debilitating and preventable disease.
