Guy Crowder, MD, MPHTM

Dr. Crowder joined the Indiana Department of Health as Chief Medical Officer in
November of 2023. He received his medical degree from the Indiana University
School of Medicine. He completed post-graduate medical training at the
Franciscan Health Family Medicine Residency in Indianapolis, and he is board
certified in family medicine. Before working for the Indiana Department of Health,
Dr. Crowder worked with Franciscan Health beginning in 2019. From 2019-2020
he worked as a family physician at Kendrick Family Medicine and as a travel
medicine physician for Franciscan Travel Well. In January 2021, he became the
medical director of employee health for the Franciscan Central Indiana Region
and the Franciscan Travel Medicine department. He was also the medical director for the Franciscan
Health-e-Access program and the medical supervisor of the Franciscan Immunizations Clinic.
