Dr. Mark Rogers earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Des Moines University-Osteopathic Medical Center and completed his residency in Family Medicine and served as the Chief Resident at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill before transitioning to a Sports Medicine Fellowship at VCOM/Virginia Tech. He has also served as the Medical Consultant for the Montgomery County Public Schools and Virginia Tech Sport Clubs, Team Physician for the Pulaski Yankees, minor league affiliate of New York Yankees and Team Physician/Chief Medical Officer for Virginia Tech Athletics. Dr. Rogers has been recognized for this outstanding work through awards such as Fellow Awards from the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians, Award of Merit from the Virginia High School League, Master Preceptor Award from the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and Best Bedside Manner, Family Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine, and Sports Medicine Awards from Our Health Magazine.
