Dr. Piazza graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2014 and was selected to attend medical school at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri following. Finding that emergency medicine allowed him to care for every age and all walks of life led him to attend an ACGME/AOA residency in emergency medicine at Good Samaritan University Hospital in Long Island, New York (2022 graduate). Dr. Piazza has specialized in training in austere medicine and has deployed to NW Africa as a part of a 6-person ground surgical team. He enjoys teaching medical students and residents, chasing his two-year-old, and just about any outdoor activity.
