A husband and father of two grown children, and one grandchild. Board certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine Board certified in addiction medicine by the American Osteopathic Association Practice addiction medicine with Spurwink, and at the Family Medicine Residency at Central Maine Medical Center. Practiced emergency medicine for 36 years, ending in 2021. Graduate of University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1984. Serves on the Maine Board of Osteopathic Licensure from 2023 to present. Serves on the Maine Recovery Council from 2023 to present. Hobbies include running, bicycling, hiking, knitting, and playing the banjo.
