Roman Magid, DO


Roman Magid, DO (Magid rhymes with “good deed”) is originally from Chicago’s northern suburbs. After graduating Knox College in Galesburg, IL, he went on to complete medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downer’s Grove. He then took an internship in the Internal Medicine department at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Afterward, Dr. Magid completed residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital in Chicago, where he served as the chief resident in his final year. He moved to Eastern Iowa in 2023 with his wife and children, and is now working in the PM&R department at UnityPoint St. Luke's in Cedar Rapids. He heavily relies on his Osteopathic training when working in the chronic pain clinic.
