Samaa Fadel OMS III
Samaa Fadel is a third-year medical student at the University of New England College of Ostopathic Medicine (UNECOM). She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical sciences while minoring in English at the SUNY University at Buffalo. She, then, completed her masters in biotechnology of Human Assisted Reproduction and Embryology. While at UNECOM, Sammaa served as the co-chair of UNE's Deans' Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion, Student Government Association's Equity & Diversity Advancement Commitee Liaison as well as their Junio Secretary/Treasurer, and became an Honorary Scholar for the AHEC Care for Underserved Program. Samaa's clinical rotations solidified her passion in skin of color, complex dermatology, and oncology. When Samaa's not on rotation or studying, she enjoys hosting dinner parties for her friends, playing ping pong, or spending time with her cat, Sokka, and partner, Jordan.
