Dr. Sujan Gogu is a triple board-certified physician in family medicine, sports medicine, and pain medicine, President of the Texas ACOFP for 2024–2025, and incoming Texas Osteopathic Medical Association board member for 2025–2028. Based in the Rio Grande Valley, he serves as core faculty at the DHR Family Medicine Residency Program, mentors students at multiple medical schools, and advocates for healthcare through the Texas Medical Board, Texas Medical Association, and from a political standpoint. Dr. Gogu is Physician Director for the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers and team physician for USA Badminton, USA Boxing, and the NBA G-League’s Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends, working out, traveling, and exploring new foods.
