Dr. Kelli Lovelace, MD graduated from Oklahoma University College of Medicine in 2003. She completed her residency in Dermatology at the University of Oklahoma, Department of Dermatology where she served as chief resident. She is Board Certified in Dermatology. She has practiced her entire career at Tulsa Dermatology clinic in both their Tulsa and Claremore offices. Dr. Lovelace is a member of multiple associations and has served as the Treasurer and a Trustee for Oklahoma State Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery Society. Dr. Lovelace participates in lectures for medical students and residents at Oklahoma State University, as well as, works with students and residents in her private practice. Her husband Brian is an orthopedic surgeon in practice at Tulsa Bone and Joint and they have a 17-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter.
Dr. Joshua Priddle is a family medicine and sports medicine physician who works at The Clinic in Ada, OK. He graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014. He completed an osteopathic family medicine residency in Tahlequah, OK in 2017 and a fellowship in sports medicine at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn Alabama in 2018.
Dr. Priddle is married to Terri recently celebrating their 16th anniversary and has one son named Eli. Dr. Priddle enjoys being with his family, camping, and recently obtained his private pilots license. He will be speaking to us today on a few common conditions of the foot and ankle seen in primary care.
Dr. Tessa Chesher is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Oklahoma State University School of Community Medicine. After her child and adolescent psychiatry training, she completed a Harris Fellowship in Infant and Early Childhood Psychiatry at Tulane School of Medicine. She is an endorsed Infant Mental Health Mentor - Clinical and Research/Faculty. She is the lead of OSU's Infant Mental Health Extension for Community Health Care(ECHO) and serves as the medical director for the Oklahoma Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Mental Health Access Program.
Dr. Jorge Mera is the director of the Infectious Disease Department at the Cherokee Nation Health Services, the largest tribally operated health care system in the United States. In 2014, in response the HCV national epidemic he launched the first ProjectECHO hub in the state of Oklahoma. This hub was focused on Hepatitis C treatment and elimination and has provided treatment recommendations to over 1400 American Indian/Alaska Native patients with HCV. In addition, Dr. Mera has been instrumental in the implementation of other ECHO hubs across Indian Country. These hubs have focused on COVID-19, HIV, HIV PrEP, infectious diseases, substance use disorders and eliminating the HIV/HCV/SUD/Syphilis syndemic. Dr. Mera completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Infectious Diseases. He is an Associate Professor in the Infectious Diseases Division at the University of New Mexico, Health Science Center, Strategic Advisor for Project ECHO in Latin America, as well as the ECHO Medical Director for the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board. Henry “Jake” Whitener was born and raised in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. He graduated from Hulbert High School in 2007. He then attended Northeastern State University earning a Bachelor of Science in Cellular Biology in 2011. He was then accepted into Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2015 as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in 2020. He would pursue a 1-year fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at the University Of Cincinnati of which he graduated in July of 2021. He served as an assistant team physician to the University of Cincinnati Athletics Department during that time helping care for greater than 500 Division-I athletes across a number of sports. He now serves as the department chairman for Orthopaedic Surgery at Cherokee Nation Health Services in Tahlequah, OK, providing orthopaedic care to the Native American people.
