Charles Kels, JD

Charlie Kels is an attorney for the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Health Security and a judge advocate in the Air Force Reserve. He previously served as an associate general counsel and regional chief counsel at the Defense Health Agency; a legal instructor for the Army Medical Center of Excellence; an attorney with the State Department's Bureau of Medical Services, a senior attorney at the American Medical Association; and a legal advisor for the Department of Homeland Security's Assistant Secretary for Health Affairs and Chief Medical Officer.
