Malinda Hansen, DO
Dr. Malinda (Mindy) Hansen is a 2015 graduate of the A. T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (Mesa). Prior to medical school, Dr. Hansen played Division I athletics and started a business where she trained athletes across the spectrum of sports and competitive activities. This led her back to graduate school to get a master’s degree in exercise physiology and ultimately to medical school.
Dr. Hansen is board certified in combined Family Medicine and Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (FM/ONMM). Dr. Hansen has several areas of interest that include: neuromusculoskeletal conditions, injuries, exercise prescription, sports medicine, adolescents, and a functional approach to treatment modalities. Currently she sees patients and is involved with the medical education of students and residents through TCOM and the combined family medicine and osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal residency. Dr. Hansen utilizes osteopathic manipulative treatment, injections, cell-based therapies, ultrasound for the detection and intervention of appropriate issue, and will integrate functional activities/education in the management of her patients.
