Rebecca Spear, DO FACP


Dr. Spear grew up and attended school in Maine, earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Maine and a medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed residency training in internal medicine at UConn Health. Following a chief resident year focused on teaching skills, she completed a combined geriatric medicine and hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at Yale University.

Dr. Spear works for the Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency, serving as Program Director for the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship. Her clinical practice includes inpatient consultation at MaineGeneral Medical Center and outpatient consultation focused on cognitive concerns at Maine Dartmouth Geriatric Medicine.
