Shiney Koshy

Dr. Shiney Koshy earned her Bachelor of Science degree from New York Institute of Technology and her medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her residency in internal medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital. She has practiced osteopathic medicine in Texas since 2018 and began teaching at Sam Houston State’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2022. 

A mother of three young children, she has been a TOMA member since 2022 and recently joined the TOMA board as the New Physisican Trustee. In that role, she prioritizes improving outreach to communities in East Texas; improving political advocacy by taking part in and presenting at conferences and advocacy events; and increasing diversity in the osteopathic profession by advocating and establishing venues to increase cultural competency in the osteopathic profession.

Dr. Koshy discloses that she has no relevant financial relationships with any organization producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients relative to the content of this presentation.
