Tyler Ellington, DO


Tyler Ellington attended University in Stillwater at Oklahoma State, double majoring in zoology and geography.  He became interested in medicine after working as a transporter at South Crest Hospital.  He studied osteopathic medicine at OSU’s Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa.  He moved to San Antonio, TX, and pursued  internal medicine training.  He developed an interest in cardiovascular medicine while treating patients in the cardiac care unit with HCM expert Joseph P Murgo.  He went on to pursue further training in cardiovascular disease with a fellowship at Baylor Scott and White-Texas A&M University in Temple, TX. He is now at Oklahoma Heart Institute, Tulsa OK.
