John J. LoCurto is the inaugural Assistant Professor of Medical Jurisprudence & Health Policy at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine in San Antonio, Texas. He teaches across the four-year medical school curriculum and in the school’s graduate medical education, Master of Public Health, and Master of Biomedical Sciences programs.  John is also an Adjunct Professor at St. Mary’s University School of Law. Prior to academics, John practiced law for 20 years, most of those with the United States Department of Justice. For several years, he ran the Justice Department's civil health care fraud and drug diversion programs in the Western District of Texas.

Mr. LoCurto discloses that he has no relevant financial relationships with any organization producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients relative to the content of this presentation.
